Can I contact you to help me choose between the 2 plans?
Yes of course, our support team will do their best to provide you with immediate assistance. If by any chance, all of us are already online, please leave us your email or phone number and we will get back to you as soon as possible. We can provide you with more detailed information about the insights you will have access to with the Business/Analytics plan.
Can I change my plan at any time?
Yes, the new plan you choose cancels and replaces the previous plan. The new commission rate associated with your new plan takes effect on the day you switch from one plan to another.
Will my customers have to re-enter their payment information if they want to leave a tip?
No, everything is perfectly integrated and linked to the payment information already entered during the checkout process. It's a tip, so everything should be simple and enjoyable for your customers. Everything is automatically handled by Shopify.
Is this application fully compliant with GDPR regulations for my customers?
Yes, everything is legally regulated by our legal team to ensure compliance with obtaining tips and protecting personal data for both you and your customers.
How should I account for tipping amounts and are they subject to VAT/Tax?
The tips received from your customers do not correspond to mandatory amounts. They are voluntarily given by satisfied members of your community, and as such, they are not subject to taxation. The accounting of tips should be recorded as exceptional income, and they are not, of course, subject to VAT.
Will I need to add code to my store to integrate and use the app?
No, everything is done automatically. Simply log in to your Shopify admin >> go to the Shopify app store through this direct link to find the pépiteurs app >> click on it >> then click "Add app", and you're done!
No technical knowledge required, just 2 or 3 minutes to sign up for your credentials! No payment card will be required, everything is automatically handled by Shopify.
Can I unsubscribe at any time?
Yes, at any time. Downloading the plug-in is not only free, but there will be no additional charges when closing your the pépiteurs account. Only the commissions for the current month, calculated up until the day of your unsubscription, will be due, nothing more!

Ultimately, tips often start coming in from the first day, there is no real "inertia" period, everything happens in real-time!
Will I owe you anything if I don't receive any tips?
No, the app and its download are completely free. We only generate revenue based on the chosen plan, and only if tips are received on your hand. The commission rate then depends solely on the use of the tip plugin alone or with all the specific data analytic features. There are no subscriptions or fixed fees.
